Cargo vessels named by the developer
The LNG & Bulk Update introduced Willy as the bulk carrier, Big Trip as the container ship and Nordic Duchess as the LNG vessel. Their associated jobs include bulk cargo, container delivery and gas delivery. The full release later addressed loading and item-placement issues on Big Trip and Nordic Duchess. Exact cargo capacities and purchase requirements need a current fleet-menu check.
Rescue vessels
The Rescue Update introduced Salvation and Grace for search and rescue. The developer describes Grace as Salvation's fast daughter boat with a rescue net. Every vessel carries lifebuoys, according to the official rescue announcement, but that does not mean every ship has the same rescue equipment. The official log also mentions tugboats, ferries and inspection targets, plus named vessels such as Herbert, Rigid, Density, Archer and Lancer. What the fleet is for
The official site describes a fleet ranging from small boats to cargo ships and tankers. It connects vessels to cargo, rescue, firefighting and patrol work, rather than claiming every ship can perform every job. The LNG & Bulk Update and Rescue Update show this specialization through named additions. Cargo compatibility is now displayed in the ship menu for the selected vessel.
Vessels can also be customized with names, colours, flags and logos according to the official site. The Career Update made owned ships part of long-term progression and trading, and later notes added a flag option in the vessel editor.
